Yes, you can clear adaptations of fuel trim. Is that what you mean?

@@autofokusDanmark What I mean, is that sometimes you change CVT transmission or another part such as a steering rack or AC compressor and the engine light comes on. When you scan it, the code that comes up, says you need a zero point calibration.

@ in some cases it can do that. But it once again depends on which car we are taking about . Unfortunately there is no one-do-it-all scan tool. But the feature is there.

Hi, thanks for the review. I have this unit but not the Bluetooth version. Do you know if bought the Bluetooth dongle would my unit be compatible with it? I tried to ask iCarsoft about it but they did not answer. And do they sell the dongle separately?

Yes it works on most cars.. but it can’t release the rear brake caliber on a Mustang Mach e as an example.

Frustrating update .Have had it for over 2 years with no problems. All of the sudden it does allow for a " oil service "reset on my 2011 G55. Make no sense. Worked fine 6 months ago.

It is a big disappointment. I tried to do a DPF regeneration on a Ford S-max 2010. Guess what? It did not work! Tried programming new tire pressure sensors on a 2016 Mercedes Vito! Guess what? It did not work! In the descriptions it says it does a lot of things, but apart from reading error codes and clearing them, it doesn't do anything else!

HI. It depends on the ECU of the car. All the live date available on a scan tool is determined by the manufacturer, and the data is known as "PID". But is the manufacturer has not made the specific PID available, then the scan tool can't show it. /Simon

Nu ved jeg ikke hvilken model fra iCarsoft du har haft, men mener at de fleste af dem som er multitestere, vil kunne initiere en regenerering af dit partikelfilter. Du skal se efter om den har servicefunktionen "DPF", men mener som sagt alle multitesterene kan det. Udfordringen er, at det ikke er sikkert din VW er "kompatibel" med den funktion, men så gælder det ikke kun iCarsoft, så vil det sikkert gælde for de fleste andre multitestere. Skriv til iCarsoft, og hør dem ad. Et alternativ kunne være VCDS, som er en "rigtig" VW tester - Dette er dog et stykke software inkl. obd2 kabel. Ift. live data, så synes jeg at CR MAX, og endda også CR Pro yder god live data, både med grafer og mulighed for at optage en sekvens mens du kører. Men her er det igen op til den enkelte bilproducent, hvilke PID (det hedder den enkelte live date du kan vælge) som du kan vælge. Nu nyere bil, nu flere PIDere kan du typisk vælge. Med det som du skriver, tænker jeg CR Pro sagtens kan dække dit behov. Se evt. min anmeldelse af den. Held og lykke- /Simon 🙂

Men når jeg forsøger, så når den ikke der til. Det er som den ikke registrerer de 2.500 omdrejninger, den beder om (selvom jeg holder motoren på 2.500 omdrejninger). WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! I bought this for my 2023 Porsche 911 targa 4gts and is not supported!!!! reached out to ICARSOFT and they said to do the latest update and it still says not supported. I did get some nice lady that said she could help but no response when I tried to reach her again.Super bummed after watching multiple videos of yours I thought this was a good product. Any advice?

Hi Bob. Thanks for your warning/advice. Remember when I do my reviews or tests, it is impossible for me to test all cars and brands. So I can only base my reccomendations on the cars I try the scan tool on. However, I still think that the CR Max should be able to read your car. Try calling iCarsoft in Holland. /Simon

I spent over a month calling multiple people and sending them codes from my car max. They said it needed to be updated but none of them have worked. Im working more on my CARMAX than my car :(

Hej Simon. Tak for dine altid gode videoer. Jeg er så "heldig" at have en engine failure på min Peugeot 5008 2.0. Har testet den med en billig OBD 2 tester og fået fejl på EGR systemet. Har overvejet at købe en CR Max for at kunne løse denne og evt. kommende fejl. Kan den teste om kredsløbet til min EGR ventil er defekt? og hvordan tester man om ens partikelfilter er fyldt og skal skiftes?. Mvh. john

Ift. dine spørgsmål: 1: CR MAX tilbyder "bidirectionel control", som betyder du kan aktivere forskellige komponenter på din bil, evt. en EGR-ventil. Funktionen er dog begrænset af, hvad bilproducenten har "åbnet" for i motorstyringen. Men det var en mulighed på en nem test din EGR-ventil. 2: Partikelfilteret bliver styret af en differenstryksensor, som når aktiverer regenereringen når differenstrykket bliver for stort hen over partikelfilteret. Du har muligheder for med CR MAXEN, selv at aktivere denne regenerering. Men som udgangspunkt styrer bilen det selv, typisk når du kører et længere stykke landevej. Håber du kan bruge svarene! Hej Rene. Den kan godt kode dyser på BMW (er jeg næsten sikker på). Der er ikke så mange mærker de skal kodes på, og har set i servicemenuen at den har dysekodning, så tænker BMW er inkluderet.
