Thank you for this video! Not much Icarus content out there especially when it comes to the missions. The payday extraction mission is pretty grueling for a solo if your RNG is bad for gold or titanium but manageable. A great mission for an excuse to use the sweet hunting rifle. I think I'd put that mission just above the agriculture supply stockpile mission for difficulty/time spent. (Possibly one that should have been mentioned) I had 70 crop plots and still took over 5 hours to complete and this was after they fixed it so things don't spoil in the drop pods. (Farm cycle times appear to default at 1 hour to grow without any perks and you can RNG from like 2-6 items grown from the one you planted) Besides that, I think you are spot on! I haven't gotten to the worm boss yet, but really excited to after hearing how much you like it.

The sandworm mission is fantastic. Dont forget to collect the scales so you can make sandworm items including the Chrysknife.

Life Line: Construction (Hard) mission is solid pay v. effort. Just build what you need to and don't waste time getting guns and other non mission junk. It's all Tier 3 and is completed with just Iron (steel) and copper. Hard mode pays 350 rocket bucks and 100 exotics. The only challenge is dodging a few riverlands bears.

Decent mission but wouldn't do it for the exotics alone can get them faster else where.

I’m brand new to this game. I just started last night. I have been playing solo in the open world & not accomplishing much more than starving lol Should I be doing the mission areas to start with? Will this section allow me to build a home, fish & craft? Or is it just a mission storyline?

Hey, you only need to do missions if you want to unlock workshop gear, yes this gear will help you out a lot. I'd recommend doing a few just to get REN (the cureency) to buy yourself a o2 tank and water bottle. What ever you build on a mission you will lose after you leave the planet to complete the said mission. Open world mode is the only place you can keep your builds at any point same as outposts.

Hey Margo, you can use any radar to locate them but you must be the payday & deep vein excavation missions

the third missin is really hard for a solo player, i mean, the cold, all the animals u cruze, u need more equipment then before to run only. not easy at all

Carefull, longer a prospect run, more lagg/freeze u get, performance got huge impact longer u run a mission ( realtime) i sugest stay max 2Day on explo for now, until they fix that.

Wait, when you play hardcore missions? if you die, you lose your character completely? or do you just lose the mission and are unable to revive?

You lose your character only if you fail the mission, but if you die in hard-core solo you will also lose your character as you have no one to revive you. And yes upu lode any workshop items you brought down with you.

Nice video i like your over view of all the missions. I have one question after you get a couple tools unlocked with exotics it feels like the rest of the tools that require exotics are worse then the versions that need them. What do we need all the exotic for if the options are downgrades. Anyone have any info on this?

The shu shi pickaxe is the only one you want for the bonus gold and copper to get the 10% extra yield. The o2 tank and canteen are a must in my opinion.

I don't know what the deal is but none of my missions are the same as yours...I'm level 15 and start "Headlong:exploration" dont know what to do next

The missions have been changed around a little since this video. Best advice is do central missions and progress to the next one to reach the ending missions.

I don't get any kind of reward after completing a mission although the Mission briefing clearly said I would get 150 or 200 of that currency. After 4 missions without anything i start loosing interest in this game...

Ones called day break and the others called station 2 Station survey (which has been removed for now)
