Don't do a ridiculous amount of orchards and farms early on. If u do, u won't have enough food storage.

Every number you see in the bottom left is the amount you have available. Only food has a storage capacity because food can spoil if it's left lying around, so you have to make sure to have enough storage. If you click on the different numbers you'll see a breakdown of the production and use of each resource. If the balance is negative you'll want to build extra production buildings. For most resources it doesn't matter how much production you have as long as it's positive. For food you'll want to keep it positive but make sure you don't overproduce because the food might spoil. Of course make sure you have enough workers to keep supporting your economy.

Raptor, orchards are statistically better for farming than the singe farms with windmills. Goodluck!

Maybe when you are at max food capacity, you could turn off farms or orchards and let your other industries catch up for a bit. Neat game, thanks for sharing.

the system for job priority is very nice but.... i would love to select the amount of workers on a job position too... ex. leave 2 on timber or 2 on quarry and not 4 at a time.

Placing a stockpile next to a forester or quarry will reduce the time your villagers needs to walk. Also, pay attention to the Job priority menu.

I love watching Playlists of games I'm good at just to see them evolve from not knowing how to chop down trees to being able to defend extremely well. Edit: I love how fast the creator is able to reply to comments, keep up the good work man!

Fun trick, you can place random roads anywhere to get the "build near road." That said you probably want fully connected roads for the movement bonus, but it can be a useful trick at times to place a single section of road just to be able to extend that build range a bit when you need it. Also each stone/iron deposit can have 2 mines on it. Also try building a marketplace near the houses instead of stockpiles. Last the Church/Library happiness bonuses stack; they want at least one but they're extra happy with both.

The seasons actually make a diffrent on farming. In summer The krops grows and in The winter you must transport The food tho graneries before The end off The winter were The axes left on The grund Will spoil.

This game looked cute in the store - and plays like a charm after I got it. It's sort of pathetic how a so called indie title is just ridiculously better than most AAA titles from the last decade.For replayability they could add some unlockables, cards or something that change up certain buildings or aspects. And multiplayer ofc. - but that's not something you can just add on a whim sadly... and I just saw the vid about the WIP Kingdom&Castles multiplayer. Nevermind :) This is what makes these devs so much better than AAAs. In case of AAA they can only make what their superiors want but indies can make what they feel would be cool.Tbh if we think about it the current indies are like how gamedevs all were back in the early decades. A dozen people or so at first, making stuff like Doom and the like. Now, with Unity, UnrealE, even CryE, you can make a game all alone, order some sound effects, music and even voice lines online, Blender, Gimp, Inkscape for graphical work or whatever you like, tons of free stuff... this era can be so good in this regard.

You need more houses than there are people and do not chop down a lot of trees but buy a forester it allows your people to chop down trees and place in the blue area you need stone and logs.
