No Pakistan player played in ipl for six years from 2009-2014 before Modi took over. Why? Bilateral series with pak stopped in 2008. No Modi govt then. Congress reluctantly agreed to two limited series in 2011-2012. Why? if Pakistanis or Indians holding bcci or Modi govt responsible for not sending team to pak can answer this question, it would be wonderful. Just fyi I lived through the 2008 Mumbai attacks and followed all the investigation including in USA federal court jailing David headley.

If there was a security concern in Pakistan then PCB should create a bubble similar to that was created during COVID IPL. The bubble should be very close that only high level people are allowed and no one should come inside the bubble untill the tournament is over. Declare a no flying zone above the hotels. In reference to the 2009 Sri Lanka tour, if anything happens to any of the players of whichever country, then who will be responsible? In Pakistan, no prime minister has been able to serve out his five-year tenure due to military rule. No offence to any players, but I think the government is right over here in protecting their players and country representatives. If also full security is provided, but you cannot stop a whole army of men against a few soldiers. I may be wrong in my opinion. BTW, respect for Wasay Habib in his knowledge of cricket

Only way for ICT to be in Pakistan is PCB convinces Pakistan Govt to write to Modiji. Maybe it could work. Only solution is to host this champions trophy by shifting indian matches to dubai and give semi final and final to dubai. There is no second option. If PCB gets tough then indian board would show muscle through sponsors and sponsors would force icc to shift indian matches to Dubai.
