I liked how NYC approached the conversation. The video is really useful and both parties were amazing, but my favourite is Alan he is so sweet 😆

That seems fair. Although I did prefer the mild way the New York students spoke

The NYC students missed a lot of details in the conversation, specificlly the part that NALSAR students at on point are saying they have a budget constraint of €1M for all three modifcations and that they will have to justify every € spent to the government and that they are answerable to the general public and at another instance they are offering an incentive of €400,000, 40% of what they said was their budget constraint for a 10% increase in foot fall. These are two contradicting statements that questions their credibility. NYC students looking at the additional €400,000 as an extra, totally ignored any rationality and jumped right up to get the offer. This added incentive very conviniently hides the low-ball offer of € 1 M for all their demands. How do they justify their budget constraints in light for raised demands on improvement? How do they justify putting in incentives worth 40% of their budget constraint and how would they justify this incentive to the government? How does giving an incentive so big that brings their total sum back up to what other contractors can easily be paid to do for, is justified? What does amazing even mean? I want it to look amazing. It shoudve been prepared well, at least a few details couldve been presented to show credibility of their design and budget demands. NYC students originally say that these changes will being the cost up to € 1.5 M, after hearing the potential incentive without a guarantee, going straight for the offer comes out very desperate. How do they justify this? How are either the parites even coming up with a number? Whenever you don't know about a cost estimate its best to come up with a range rather than a number. Instead of NYC students demanding a sum of € 2M they could've estimated the cost to be between the range of € 1.9M to € 2.3M. This is just an example of the gaps i observed, but hey, its just my opinion, im not even a law student, being a project management candidate, it closely resonates with the field of work that i do. Negotiations and mediations a key aspect of my work. I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
