@morningcoach Thanks for the review. I live in western Pennsylvania and am concerned about the winter months (water freezing in chiller or lines and keeping water in Ice Barrel from getting too cold). Does the Warrior chiller help there (effectively anti-freezing and keeping water from getting too cold in barrel)?

Mark, thanks, man. I have not had it in the winter yet. I have tested the warming feature, and it works. So, I am hoping that is what it does. I run it for 1 hour in the morning every day, and it keeps it at 42 degrees. I have not had freezing temps, but I will assume that when I have it on AUTO, it will heat instead of cool when it does get cold out there. Again - the tests I have done all work, BUT we haven't had a freeze since I had it. So I don't want to just blindly say it does until we have a real test in a few weeks. BTW the ICE BARREL 500 is insulated like you wouldn't believe so I think it is going to be hard to freeze in there. But we get sub zero here in January so that will be the real test.

Awesome Video!! I have the same Ice Barrell and am considering the Warrior Chiller + Heater and feel lucky to find you having the SAME setup! One question - how long does it take to go from "cold plunge temp (~45 degrees) to Hot Tub temp (~102 degrees) and then back again? Have you tried it both ways? Thanks in advance for your help!

Thanks for the comment, I have been just using the cold plunge at 42 degrees daily. I set it for automatic turn on at 6:30AM and off at 7:30AM it is normally 41 degrees when I get back from my morning run or training. It rocks really, I have not used the heater yet as we have still been in summer and I have a jaccuzi here so I don't need the heater except to keep the water at 42 degrees. If that makes sense. I will have to try that one day - the Ice Barell is so insulated it is awesome! This is probably overkill, but the set up rocks, I clean the filter, add chemicals like once a month. Couldn't be happier :)

how is the heater aspect of the water chiller. Can it turn into a hot tub? How long would it take to heat up the water from normal water temperature

YES - it can reach 104 degrees (I have not tried that). I have a jacuzzi here. I got the heater primarily for winter months here outside Chicago. Great question!

What was the issue with the fans?
@morningcoach5 ай бұрын
They told me July shipments where fixed, but I had to remove the cover and bend the fans, then it has been working fine. Few months in now. Thanks for asking. Any questions just hit me. up - I am taking it down to 40 degrees today.

@@morningcoach Thanks But what was the fan doing? Was it hitting the cover? The reason I ask is that I got the same chiller back in January.

No problem it was hitting the case, when I first got it the cooler would not turn on, so I text them and they said to check the fan blade and the fan wouldn't spin, so it was pain, I had to open up the case, and bend each fan blade. It is working fine. But let me know I can I shoot a video if you have an issue they also sent me a video. Said they would have that fixed with July deliveries. So your blades may be hitting the case.
