ICE BRIDGE at Niagara Falls, FIRST DAY of formation, Jan.11, 2015

The 2015-season Niagara Ice Bridge was formed early this morning on Jan.11, 2015. Late yesterday the Niagara River was still flowing. Within the next 20 hours, the river was covered with a solid Ice Bridge, extending fully from the Horseshoe Falls, all the way past the Rainbow Bridge, almost to the Schoellkopf Maid dock.
