I just stayed in a friends home, and the snow load on the manufactured house was so great. It was making cracks on the exterior and interior along with door. Jam was out of square and the deadbolt would barely move with the snow load that we have here in Northern California 2 1/2 feet of snow good equal 100s or thousands of pounds with the water wait here we call at Sierra concrete. I really liked the heat tape idea and wondered if it could be set up on a battery backup system when the power goes out.

Hey Aaron, Thanks for the comment and for watching the video. Is that Sun Valley Idaho? Also, Not sure why I don't have very many views, maybe at the start of the new year Fitness Influencers and Financial Gurus get more views than home inspectors, hahaha. I hope your winter season goes well!!

Not completely true, I’ve cleared roofs for 20+ years here in NH. You can carefully remove ice dams using the proper tools. I used a 2lb dead blow hammer and take care when doing so.

The title of the video said that you're going to talk about the inexpensive method......and you never actually talked about it.....????
