Most people would be surprised how much weight ice can hold. A few years ago our fish and game department posted 'Don't drive a pickup truck on less than 4 inches of ice.'! I am freaked out by walking on less!

Pick is more like 10-12plus of ice

Your f and G department posted that? I call bull shit. They would never post anything less than 8 inches. NEVER.
@erickendell543711 ай бұрын
@@skylermummert24you'd think that but 6-8" of black ice will hold a truck fine. I just wouldn't recommend it.

We've been watching you for while now and you are so cool! Zona's mouth was watering watching you prepare your catch, We did notice the lime green Honda in the background ,Zona has an Orange one , that was so nice of you to share with those people ,Zona did mention that Jordan was awful clean and that you were "JUST JOSH" , I'm not sure what she was getting at , but she thinks you're a cutie, I think you're a great Kid ,oh we are old enough to be your "proud grandparents ,so that's why all the cute comments,we have fun watching you and Jordan and Boo.

I'll fish 2 or 3 in of good clear ice on backwater that's shaded out most of the day and out of the wind. But i mainly fish the Mississippi so if it's got current ice can change quickly. I stay off all main channel ice. I just fish panfish anyways. And try cooking your fish in Peanut Oil. It just tastes better.

Should always put the guard back on your auger blade. I have been ice fishing my whole life in Vermont. Accidents still hurt, and that's an accident waiting to happen kid. Protect your kids, pets and friends. Pets it happens the most to, getting sliced open because someone did not put the guard on the auger blade.
