Oh yea those are owls y’all were hearing. My favorite thing to hear late at night when i’m fishing, my grandpa could do a real good owl impression so when i’m on his farm fishing for bowfin and turtles and I hear those owls it makes me remember all the good memories I had with him.

Looks like you had fun, the blues you caught were good size. It's always nice to sleep under the stars too. That's sure a big ol' river though, amazing how much water it carries.
