We call that spot the Crappie Hole! Very cool spot! I live about 3 miles from there and grew up fishing that spot. I actually might have fished it the next day. Very cool!

When i caught my first ice pike this winter i was an idiot and forgot to not put my fingers in it's mouth to remove the hook. Long story short it bit my fingers and absolutely shredded them. Obviously i bled a ton and had to get stitches. Never thought a pike biting my fingers would result in me getting stitches😂

We use to jump off that bridge as kids wasaay back when , water only about 4 feet deep on north side of that bridge, on main river just to the west I've caught 20 inch walleye

Thanks for the video Josh ! I have a question maybe you could answer. A few years ago it seemed like most of the KZbin crappie catchers were remarking a lot about the crappie's "shoulders." Then all crappie shoulder references stopped and they've never been spoken of again. Did the KZbin censors decide to classify "crappie shoulders" as hate speech or something? Maybe mentioning them went out of style? What's the deal with that?

They were referring to a specific crappie type that is fairly unique, can't think of its name but it has a thick black mark above the head at the "shoulders". For a crappie, they get big.
