After watching you catch fish on a blade bait for years I finally got some. Holy Moly the action is like nothing I've felt before. They are insane feeling, even on a salmon rod. And Chinook, Chum, and Coho smash them hard. I live on the west coast so I didn't expect them to work as well as they did but you can't argue with success.

I have to say, you have opened my eyes about how readily flatheads take lures. I used to catch them accidentally in Oklahoma on various crankbaits but thought it was a fluke thing. It definitely is not, I've seen you do it a lot these last few years I've been watching your channel. I wish I had realized it about 40 years ago though, I turned 69 today lol. Nice catches! On the flathead bleeding. We actually had a 45 lb blue chock a bait during a tournament and it hooked right where the gills meet the bottom jaw and it bleed so bad the whole livewell turned red but after a hr of pumping new water and oxygen it repaired itself.
