Give us some more ice fishing, you will learn to like it. lol. No ice down here in the south east part of the state. Crappy winter so far. Hope to be headed up there next month with some bud's to do some ice fishing. Keep up your get content.

Thanks for the video. It's an entirely different world and a refreshing change from my surf fishing in Florida. You might try whitefish on the big lake. I'm sure you have a buddy that has a nice fishing shack. It would be cool to see you lying back in a fully outfitted shack pulling in whitefish, trout, or salmon. I'm sure many people have never seen comfortable ice fishing or enjoyed the camaraderie when the shack turns into a man cave. Spearing pike might also make a great video but it might affect some people's sensibilities.

@Jim Fromm I could definitely fish on the big lake. However, I wouldn't really be down for spearing. Although it would be super interesting I wouldn't personally want to do it. I think I've only kept and cooked one pike my entire life. I like the idea of a relaxed fishing shack experience.

Enjoy Brother. We have no ice down here. Or at the cabin in the middle of the mitten. If it doesn't get cold I'm driving north in February. Won't stop till I find some ice.

@Haight's Wanderings yeah I'm sad. Harrison was 41° today and 38° the next two days. Should be good in 2 weeks if the forecast doesn't change. Home is very southern michigan and here it's looking more like half way through February before we get a cold snap. Raining here currently.

@Brook Trout 1 Hmm, I am not sure about ice fishing trout. I don't know if you can legally target them during the winter in most places. There are some locations but they are rare.

@@HaightsWanderings you might not be able to keep brooktrout but spake rainbow and lakers are legal, seeing a school of splake under the ice , they’re like little sharks, pretty cool

PS, SW Marquette co is where I went / go but like I said they no longer stock it so the ones that are in there are nice, few and far between but nice
