Lots of little pike in this lake! Some big walleyes too.. ran into a local who said he caught 28” walleye.. has me intrigued

Ryan, how awesome is it to be back on the ice. Loved that you had a pike on the tip-up while you were setting the tent. That's a great sign. Cooperative fish, family, and good weather. Looked awesome to me.

We camp near Battle, but I've never tried this spot in open water or winter. You guys did well. Bacon & the fire sold me! Where's my invite.. 😅

Love being back on the ice! We just fished a private tournament this past weekend out at Wabamun and had a blast! We got talking with some locals before we left Battle and they were telling me that there are some BIG walleyes at Battle Lake! But there are a tonne of pike in the lake too.. lots of tiny ones which makes the spot perfect for kids!
