That under water camera is the best. You can see some of the aquatic life other than fish moving around. 14:00 there’s a leach or worm looking thing bouncing around and those little specs darting around. Amazing perspective

There are cables you can attach to the GoPro incase it come off the mount. I’d definitely do that if you are going to use it for ice fishing.

@@Alligator-Gar Where are you from? I am from central Minnesota. We primarily fish for sunnies, crappies, and walleye. Some fish for northern Pike. I wish we had trout and big perch here. We have to drive like 6 hours to the nearest trout and the perch here stay really small because the walleye and northern pike mainly feed on them.

Great video man, glad you got your go-pro back! Those were some beautiful brookies too. I can't stress this enough though... spud bar, spud bar, spud bar. As someone who hits early ice every year, I can tell you ice conditions can be VERY inconsistent. You can go from 5" to 2" in no time. Be safe 👍

So a suggestion for you when fish get finicky is a great idea to pound dirt and move sediment it brings bugs into the water and cause a feeding frenzy or sometimes fish will just get finicky in general so pounding bottom imitates feeding bait

We like to put are camera in a second hole 3 or 5 ft away from the one's we are fishing in so we can see more than just one line and so the fish don't get spooked off from it🐟🐳
