We don't always get to choose our days. At least I don't, so I just learn how to catch in the best and worst days. Thank you for stopping by!

Fishing for lake trout up here in northern Manitoba down 80-90 feet on the rock reefs summertime , We always use lead jigs with sucker meat , If the barometer isnt between 28-30.5 we usually wont go and impending bad weather is most likely on the way , The cloudy rough water days is always good for pickerel if your on the right spot !

It might still be a slower time fishing in most cases but not always . I look at it as keep a hook in the water as often as possible and it's always better to be outside . Being there is the trip and catching fish is the bonus . I get lost of bonuses Thankfully . You can't catch fish if your hook isn't in the water .
