So cool! The first lake has never struck me as a big pike lake but I think throwing pike-imitations in there would be worth it… huge congrats on those tanks at the end that was crazy! Totally agree with what you said at the end about targeting big pike in local areas rather than trophy designations. It’s much more rewarding that way… can’t wait for season 2! 😊

Oh, the first lake has had some pretty big ones come out of it. Just gotta be in the right areas. I have come to learn. Thanks for watching, man!

Good stuff, Jason. Some very nice fish put in the boat. I agree with you about the vibrations in the muddy water. I'd say that's a must for pike in those conditions.

Wow can’t believe I never found this series earlier! Wab definitely has some tanks lurking, still lots of small walleye and whites for them to eat yet. So awesome that you guys caught that 35 incher! Fat too… Isle, Wab, and LaNonne are the last few lakes in that area to hold 40’s and the fish are only getting bigger 😂 keep it up!

Some great fishing, made for a good vid... some good info... March 2022 I got very lucky and landed a 51.75 inch, 40+ pound (only had a 25lb scale and it was rusted...lol ..was bottomed out)...6lb line... caught in alberta rockies lake through the ice... a true unicorn pike... biggest fish I've caught in 50 Years of diehard fishing.. that said me and my son got 5 over 40 inches this past summer at same lake. Good luck this season and stay safe... From my melting igloo on the mountain in grande cache alberta D. P.s... yes we have a vid on tube and lots of pics...lol.

Fishing for lake trout up here in northern Manitoba down 80-90 feet on the rock reefs summertime , We always use lead jigs with sucker meat , If the barometer isnt between 28-30.5 we usually wont go and impending bad weather is most likely on the way , The cloudy rough water days is always good for pickerel if your on the right spot !
@adventuretimefishinghunting6 ай бұрын

It might still be a slower time fishing in most cases but not always . I look at it as keep a hook in the water as often as possible and it's always better to be outside . Being there is the trip and catching fish is the bonus . I get lost of bonuses Thankfully . You can't catch fish if your hook isn't in the water .
