Great place to take people to fish! Can't believe how many fish get taken out of that lake (all year) and how many fish it still produces, year after year! Been fishing there for over 20 years, though I have other spots I fish as well, away from crowds! But the north triangle is my top choice when bringing my daughter!

@@fishlovme well said I couldn’t agree more. I often hear people get concerned about over fishing lakes and for some this is true, but the Madison chain is huge. When you take into account the actual number of anglers compared to the shear number of square fishing miles it’s really not that many (it just seems like a lot when everyone is congregating in a small area). The underwater footage proves it.

Get out of Madison n head north, then u will find some true big gills! Imo those r average gills nothing to get crazy about!
