Dude...I know I've said this many times over the years, but you are awesome! Your videos are awesome! It's not only because you catch trophy fish, but the content, hanging out feel, videography, editing, information and expertise on the equipment and gear, use of electronics (video, audio and fishing electronics). It's just a joy to watch your videos. And just when I think you can't add more to the videos, you throw in a little fireworks show? You maniac! 😂

Could you make a video showing some contoured lake maps and walk us through the process you use to find fish or find decent spots to setup your shack? I know you have made videos describing where you go to fish theoretically, but walking us through your process from boat ramp to shack setup on top of these spots utilizing GPS and mapping would be incredibly helpful. I just pieced together my livescope shuttle and finally having access to accurate GPS and maps is overwhelming!

You had a swivel in the last video using spoons. Do you ever use a swivel when using the big tubes for lakers? I get a ton of line twist jigging the big tubes

I run a FG knot for lake trout because I like a longer leader. The line twist thing is annoying though 100%

Can you explain sometime how you rig the dragon slayer? I saw on this one what jig head you use, thanks! that part is awesome. But when you run the hook through it, is it flat tail to top an bottom, or flat tail side to side?

I know you already answered a question about how to find fish, but question is when did hou know when it was time to move with just the traditional flasher not having LS? What mindset do you yourself in to stay in the game?
@ClaytonSchickOutdoors9 ай бұрын
Really the flasher wouldn't change anything for me. Like I said in the video, I am more likely to move quicker if I am fishing a new spot.. BUT doesn't mean I would rule that spot out yet. I am more willing to put time in at a spot I have confidence in. Also if I am seeing bait come around I am more likely to stick around longer as well.

I know your canada, but the lakers are lakers cept the siscowets, you fish so shallow even in thunder bay we fished 150, in Wi on Superior i never fish shallower most over 200 ft. Would be so great if one of you laker fishers could come on a good ice year and make some content. I cant catch them shallow in many years, if its under 125 ft its just a bonus fish.😊
