I grow out doors in California and I only use ice when it's extra hot, it's been over 100 recently so iv been using 45-50 degree water every couple days to help keep my buds dense and stinky, I have a laser thermometer and the actual surface temp of the nugs goes way down with cold water

Great timing, I'm a few days away from chopping some Westport Grape Juice plants and an Apple Fritters, I should try ice on one of the Grape Juice plants to see if it makes a difference. They're already getting colorful.

I give my plant ice in veg stage! Then i flush with freezing water and ice 2 weeks before harvest. I’m a new grower but my plant are a magenta’s color that I’ve never seen before and dense AF. Basically natural 2 grams of nuts and banana water.

Bag appeal is a thing. If this helps bring out the color then it seems like a fine method if that's what you're going for.

many years ago a friend who lived in Nepal explained to me that anthocyanins in cannabis appear more frequently in their genetics given the altitudes and low temperatures, and this happens because a darker color of the leaves helps to better capture the sun's rays, and the increase in cold with the approach of autumn and therefore a decrease in the power of the sun's rays would give a sense to this whole theory, could it be true?

This sounds about right. I figure if you're going for more color at the end then it makes sense to do it.

I pack ice at the base of the plant. within 48 hrs. of harvesting. And the smell that comes out of the plant is very strong. I think it tells the plant to blow its load so to speak. Scientifically does it actually work? No idea but my nostrils dont lie to me.

You are cooling the wrong part of the plant! lol You want your flowers cooled down, not the roots. A frost doesn't freeze the ground, but does bring on the colors, aroma and flavors.

Maybe a fan that blows ice cold air at the plant instead of the throwing ice water on the roots ?

Agreed ice water flush is silly. But lets see some graphs and charts. That which can be claimed without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence.
