For thunder sphere, you can put it on the skill notification window and drag that skill to one of your keys so you don't have to press the down arrow to place it.

Good vid! I want to add for a bossing mule maxing nodes for chain lightning, thunder sphere and lightning orb feels better to me than spreading out points to include elquines, frozen orb, and blizzard since the last 3 do minimal damage, especially for a level 220 when slots are limited. Also if you have enough buff duration you should be able to full burst with jupiter thunder once at the beginning of infinity and and again at the end

Honestly, you're just down on nodes. You can probably fix the Lomien issue with a little more IED, but from what I see in the video, you're doing the best you can do already at 220. I/L DPM is so dependent stacking all of their damage multipliers on their burst. I see you planting down Absolute Zero Aura against CPap and that's exactly what you should be doing because the combination of Jupiter Thunder, Thunderbolt, and Lightning Orb end up chewing through your Freeze stacks faster than you can reapply them. Ice Age keeps the freeze stacks high during burst when added to the mix. Then you stack Maple Goddess Blessing, Mana Overload, and for people that want to main one, a RoR4 and WJ4. Finally, Jupiter Thunder/Thunderbolt/Lightning Orb combo on burst is the majority of your damage. Getting a maxed Lightning Orb from boost nodes and maxing out at least Jupiter Thunder will increase your final damage by a ton.

yeah that's what I was thinking, but I appreciate the detailed explanation on what can and will increase the damage! I think once I can fund this more the bossing will feel amazing!

I agree. Burned IL for Destiny cause the Explorer Mages were supposedly really strong. All 3 feel like they're meant to be mains more than a bossing mule. Bucc and Drk have easily been top tier for me so far. My IL is funded between the levels of my bucc and drk. IL feels weaker or similar to my drk though.

I agree actually cuz I love the IL aesthetic but it always felt weak even after the buffs. Maybe lumi will suit you better? I have him at 220 and the burst is easy

Another agreeing comment! my IL was my 220 explorer that I made for destiny, full abso, full superior, bossing nodes at lv20/21 and my skills nodes 10-15. and it just doesnt feel that good. I recently rolled +1AS and epic buff duration to see how that would turn out and it FEELS better, but the damage output still feels the same. It's really hard to micromanage bursts because I always got to check where my infinity buff cd is at to optimize damage. I eventually would want to train it and end up switching it to bishop though. But nodes @_@

A little tip to know when Infinity is at max dmg mana starts to swirl around you

I think you can consider maxing out unstable memory first, it gives a lower downtime to have continuous uptime on infinity which gives much higher DPM

My main is a 265 ice lightning bossing is still not the best but daily’s and mobbing is so easy. IMO the best maple class overall

Goated fit as per usual - i saved I/L for my hyper burn mainly for the node slot requirements. I get the feeling its much like Xenon in that respect.

You do need speed infusion and attack speed inner to cap attack speed

5/10 I/L. I/L is bad off burst. F/P is a more stronger class.

@@Ereklo_Game I thought buffs get closer to expiring as they get darker which was why I initially thought the pictures were flipped. Unless Infinity works differently

Im with you. I actually like the look of the skills (aesthetics) of i/l mages. But the only thing that puts me off is teleport. I very much prefer double jump over teleport which is why i never considered mages as a main in the past. My question is, would it be something i can overcome over time? Everyone says play what you like, but is it something to consider? Or am i overthinking it?
