I believe the random screws are for the cover to the starting components. Great video, always good to refresh the basics. Thanks bro!

Random screws went into the trash. Hopefully they weren’t needed somewhere. 😬

I am very interested in learning how to work on ice machines to include the refrigeration system, troubleshooting, servicing, and cleaning. Any advice on where I can get training, hands-on, online, training, books, ect.??

You looking for a career or just kinda side work type of thing?

Going directly to the manufacturer is the best way to get educated on ice machines. The refrigeration side of things id recommend becoming an apprentice at a hvacr company. No amount of training is going to beat real life.

Do the ice machines manufacturers offer refrigeration training for they products?
@IceMachine41110 күн бұрын
They provide information about the refrigeration cycle but not on using the tools required to do the work. Torches, gauges and recovery equipment.

Do yall refurbish ice machines?
@IceMachine41112 күн бұрын
Sometimes. If the machine is worth bringing back to life then definitely. Our primary business is commercial ice machine service and repair.

@@IceMachine411 How many guys work for your company/branch if yall only do ice machines, i haven't seen many companies that only do ice machines

Yes it is definitely rare for an ice only company. We do some refrigeration work but are super picky about who we take on. We are a five guy team.
