It's crazy to see how the new gen is trying to improve old Skye's move. I'd say that this video is like a "Skye's Rebirth". Keep going ! You all are a source of inspiration. I really wanna come to Hawaii to skate with some of you. I would be able to learn so much things from your skating skills ! Can't wait for the new video ! And keep improving yourselves ! 🔥🙏

Great to see you guys doing what you do, superb footwork and control, i wish i was younger with enough years of skating ahead of me so i could get that good.

This guy is so awesome, as a hockey player I so badly wanna learn some of these moves, especially for those Friday night disco rink sessions

You must be talking about Chris, the guy in all black. Make sure you check the other videos, there's a huge amount of material from other skaters who's moves you can draw from.

your skating looks amazing! How did you learn it? Did you practice on roller skates before, or did you start from scratch on the ice? Also, what would you recommend for someone who wants to start skating like that? Do you need special figure skates, or are regular hockey skates enough?
@JediFarceАй бұрын
Practice is #1. These are just my opinions - Get a mid tier level skate, and they don't need to be new ones. You can buy used I recommend you disinfect them before use. Learn how different hollows can affect your abilities. Learn from the better skaters at your rink.

In this video, a gopro black 7. Shot at 2k 30p & 60p wide. The different frame rates don't exactly blend so the 30p is sort of blurry. Also keep in mind you need to recrop and color grade the footage.

It's a variation of Skyes who keeps his knees pointing forward, see the 'Simply the best' video at 2:30. Chris changed the angle for better control.

Hey, can someone explain to me the difference between carbon runners vs stainless steel vs titanium? Which one is the best, the most durable and so on? I was sharpening my skates today and was advised to buy a spare pair of carbon runners because they are better than my current stainless steel Bauer LS. Thanks.
