Some tips: When you go to certain places, there are red beams that you need a bypass key for. Build as many as you can over and over and scan for Monoliths, Transmissions, Shelters, and Colonial outposts. The outposts have upgrades if you answer questions correctly. Shelters are usually Drop Pods which have a suit upgrade in them if you pay. Monoliths help your standing with the language and give you words. And transmissions give you beacons and transmission towers which can have anything in them.

The game is an amazing concept but it needs more depth. I think that you should be able to join a team which has space battles against other teams, missions that take you to planets for resources or other things. Also battles on planets for territory etc so it's harder to gather resources if its controlled by another team. Something like this would make this one of the best ever games IMO

Well they said they're adding content through free update patches like bases etc but it's the multiplayer or lack of that makes me think the game won't be able to evolve into something beyond a single player experience. Not to say that they can't somehow add that in but who knows.... There was also a stream where two players where streaming how they were at the same place but couldn't see each other even when standing in the same exact place! So a big shame but crazy all the same considering what the odds are of even that happening!

Ehhh, Teams just breed rivalry and crushing the small. The game is built around being alone or lonely, which is why you never see other AI Humans and players have almost no chance of seeing each other, its built around exploration and isolation mainly.

So I got the game and I played it for 7 hours+ in total. Imagine it as a pool that's 5 million miles wide but 1 foot deep. This game has no depth. Yes there are a variety of planets you can explore and search freely,but you do the same thing at every single one. You run around and find a building. Gather items. Have your inventory full. Sell items. Go to another planet. But this time the planet is red instead instead of green. And the animals are white instead of yellow. At the first 2 hours of this game I was like woah. Look that that scenery man. Or I can go where ever I want. Cool. But afterwards it just leaves you empty and the only thing the game has is scenery. But the game play is not so great. As a matter in fact it's really bad. I payed 60 bucks for a virtual screen saver I could play. I rate paper Mario 4/5 and this game 2/5

+ACOG Tig3r amen dude. people aren't fully appreciating the subtle nuances that truly are the bread and butter of this game. this game is meant for search and discovery. not mad-dash game play where you never stop to smell the extra terrestrial roses lol. this game is a fiercely unique experience akin to taking a hike through a beautiful forest or mountain backdrop. if people played Pokemon games expecting there to be more to it than catching them all and fighting, they would have the same adverse reaction that most people are having to No Mans Sky. its a masterpiece in and of itself.

Brad, Attack one of those giant cargos that you see. You only have to rain photon shots to one or two of their containers, pick up the material and run as fast as possible or the "space police" will disable your booster. Sounds fun ;)

Brad there are Big landing pod in some save points, if you enter them they have a chance for suit upgrades giving you more inventory space, the Atlas Pass can be obtained in the big space station like the one you went in this episode. Like so he can see, it gets on my nerves whenever he misses stuff like that.

Nice video Brad! Also, just wants to tell you that an Atlas pass would help you a lot. It'll get you access to the locked doors in space stations, some loot crates and other stuff. And btw when you find another one of those machines with the red beam, scan for shelters or outposts. Shelters sometimes have drop pods that guar you inventory upgrade and so give you more slots. Just some advice. But you do it the way you want Brad :) Stay awesome dude!

You should go to the atlas interface, you will get the atlas pass v1 which will allow you to open doors and canisters that are locked, generally there is better stuff in these canisters, you can fine suspension fluid

yo for the unknown animals, to scan them there is a little green or red dot underneath them to see if you actually have scan them. same with plants too. you can scan anything you can interact with. just a way to get more units.

When analyzing creatures, simply press R3 to zoom in (you can zoom in twice), that is how you scan aerial creatures, as well as creatures that are farther away.

Hey Brad, instead of buying a new ship, you can upgrade your ship into a better one. Always look out for blueprints when you are playing. You can make some stuff which will be useful for you. But for that your observational skills should be on point! XD. And actually the point of this game is really simple, just explore and have fun!

13:11 those pods on the left and right might have held some pearls/orbs of some kind. I've harvested a few before, and one moon I went to once had a ton of them, each orb costing 27,000. I named the moon after these awesome treasures.
