I know, right? It's not perfect, and I personally find the graphics to be a little disappointing, but I don't think it promoted itself to be anything more than what it actually is -- which is you just flying around, discovering planets and collecting resources. So why people are feeling gypped, I don't understand. If you don't like that type of game, this just isn't the game for you, doesn't mean it's a bad game. As for me, I'm enjoying myself.

Dear Brad, you should seriously attempt to backtrack off screen, you've missed so much tech, atlas passes, multi-tools, money, and vehicles its absurd. You'd benefit even more if you'd just take your time and read the prompts that come up if your attention span permits ......FYI i've watched all your vids........ going any further is inviting ownage........ just so you know Brad, you can zoom in with your analyzer by pressing the R3 button. and you can get a totally free ship with more space if you use your bypass chip and selecting colonial utpost. if you ger the number right on the outpost you will get the navigation of you new ship

I've had this game for 2 days now and I have to say it's pretty cool. I am way ahead of Brad in terms of what I have, bought a new ship for 2.1 million, got new guns and currently have one that has like 15 space, upgraded my suit so I have 18 inventory, my ship has 25 and I've only been to 3 planets, because I explored and scanned everything I could, learned over 50 words and such. This game depends on what you like, I like playing solo, not a fan of CoD or multiplayer fighting games. It's all about me and I can do whatever I want. You should get the grenade, lets you dig trenches on the planet, dug myself a tunnel lol.

My opinion on the game: I love the hell out of it. The exploration, how calm and mysterious it is, the feeling of being outside of a planet, seeing how small you really are and thinking about how many other planets are out there. It's astonishing, and I find the slightly repetitive gameplay so tranquil, I truly love it. The thing that really sucks, is that it's a game that is only compatible and possible to make in this generation, but it's really suited for previous generations. The current one is so focused on exciting gameplay, blowing things up and whatever, that they can't appreciate how beautiful and amazing the game really is. These kind of people see games like Quantum Break and think it's amazing because of realistic graphics and such, when really the story is all around the place and the gameplay is just as repetitive, possibly even more repetitive than NMS. The simplicity yet mysteriousness of the game, combined with the views, exploration and different paths and capabilities of the game, such as the will to do whatever you want within a vast universe is, imo, completely amazing. I think it lived up to the hype, for me anyway, and if your opinion is different, good for you. But I'm done seeing comments trying to convince people to not get a game that could be truly worth the experience. Always watch videos of the game before you play, then you decide yourself whether you want the game or not.

Brad, I went back and watched your play through of Portal 2, since I never finished that game when I played it back in the day. It is fucking hilarious how much more pronounced that Georgia drawl is in your voice! I almost expected you to break out with an "I do declare!" at any moment. I also think you must have said "Hang on" about 30 times per video. You are certainly more comfortable and polished five years after that series, but the affable, gracious, goofy gaming tour guide that we all know and love, comes across loud and clear, even back then. Hell, I hardly even noticed the obnoxious graphic across the top edge of the screen, pleading for me to hit the "like button!" LOL I just realized how much the computer voice in this game sounds a lot like Glados from Portal. Also, with all of the mixed reactions from people giving their pros and cons with this game, I have not heard or read anyone stating one of the coolest aspects of the game: Absolutely no loading screens! You go from ship to land and from planet to planet with nothing but continuous, seamless video. My 2 cents.

If you find a signal scanner you can make a bypass chip to acces it and search in the category for 'Shelter' to find drop pods which increases your inventory slots! Also look for trading outposts they have might have weapon upgrades in them if you're lucky! Hope you see this Brad ^^

Brad I can help you move faster using jetpack take a few attempts , read carefully , first press R3 to run the R1 for melee as soon as you press R1 press X for your Jetpack straight away, if done right you fly Horizontal across the land it cuts ur time in half exploring.and dangerous situations. Brad you should spend more time exploring the planet(if only outside of the videos), the more you explore the more you're going to find bases and those allow you to meet new aliens and buy new multi-tools, plus you can find monoliths and ruins with allow you to learn the lore of universe and/or new alien words, and you can also find crashed ships which require being fixed up but can get you a great ship almost for free.(try to go into every on planet station you see as they will have a puzzle that you can solve to reveal the location of one of these places. They're all really easy number patterns too)

Oh, also look out for drop pods(pyramid shaped pods with one side being a hologram), they allow you to pay to have your exosuit inventory expanded, I currently have 40 slots in my exosuit inventory which really helps for having room for exosuit mods while still being able to farm.

Brad there's a small bug that might speed up your mining, if you're curious I'll try not to spoil it for you by saying it right here, it's below - If you fire the laser, release, and fire again, the cooldown will be restarted and you can do that everytime it hits red, just stop firing and fire again, and It'll go down instantly.

Hey Rad you really should stay at one planet and discover all of its flora and fauna cuz those will give a ton of units and if do at least 2 planets which may give 400,000U (units ) go to Space Station and wait there for a New Ship to Buy
