This was definitely one of the coldest i've ever been out ice camping! Couldn't go outside for more than two minutes without thinking my face was going to fall off! So probably 25 yrs ago maybe…yeah I’m old. I went to Leach lake there in Minnesota and rented a bunk house for a week with a friend of mine. One of the nights it was well below 0. I can’t remember the exact temp. Anyway the owner of the house would drive out and check on us every other morning. One morning he showed up and the door was totally frozen shut! It was crazy. We were stuck in there until he was able to heat the door up enough to pry it open. Your video of frost on your door just reminded me of that. Caught my first burbot on that trip. Anyway I really miss fishing the Midwest. Thinking of taking a trip east and hitting fort peck here in Montana then jumping over to North Dakota for a week.
