Iced is a very nice place i went for my birthday but its super cold and if u go on the ice ring i recommend that u go with clothes to change and go with gloves if u go in snow the bumper cars was the absolute best i love ice

You are sure right we need to appreciate more instead of complaining whether it's the 1st or 2nd ice rink in the caribbean. If you can't afford the trip to a foreign country to experience this the price can be affordable for the experience. Nice video keep up the good work

FYI...Icetopia was the first ice skating rink to open in Barbados. However, it was very short lived. I hope Trinidad has more success with this venture. I know Trinidad has challenges with frequent power outages so best of luck with that, unless there's a good back up.plan in place!

No we didn't have to pay to go into the facility. The only time you pay is if you want to use the rink or the snow area or buy drinks. Which I really appreciate cause having to pay just to go in would have been a bummer

Nice idea but I find the rink too small and the price, $85 for just 20 minutes? I think this is going to be one of those things you do one and done, like bungee jumping or skydiving.. i personally wouldn't go there even if it was free for 20 minutes. As I said, it's much too small for one person to get a good flow going, let alone sharing it with others. And when I get going I'd usually skate 30 - 45 minutes before taking a break, then back to it for another hour or so.

Once you dress them in warm clothing they'll be fine.

You can't get sick just from going from hot to cold to hot again. Some of my fondest memories are taking my daughter, when she was eight/nine, to skate in summer, when outside was hot like T&T. Usually I would wear a T-shirt underneath a hoodie and short pants. Once I built up a nice sweat I would lose the jacket and just skate in shorts and tee. No one ever got sick.

And before you suggest that it maybe different because I'm used to cold, the summer skating was popular with new immigrants from all over, many from hot countries in Africa and Asia. The reason is because it wasn't as busy, so more room to practice and learn without bouncing into people all the time.

Not true. It's an experience for them especially if they end up going abroad and have to live through winter weather and cold weather during spring and fall. If she can afford it, let her and her children have fun. As a Trini living abroad, I love the cold weather. No one gets cold in the bones.🇹🇹🇨🇦😢

Think of it like this, you have cable & popcorn home but you still go to the cinema once in a while, or you have water and sand at home does that mean you don't go to the beach? We do it for experience, change of atmosphere & to make memories with our kids. They benefitted more than you know.
