Paul Rowley me too. Mine has the mesh seat. Rear suspension only. Very comfy. I’m wondering if it can be fitted with the 700 C rear wheel. May be a carbon saddle too. Who knows?I’m about 50 miles from Utah trikes. I’ll give them a call

Is there import duty from England also? I ask because ICE trikes is in the UK.

Yes. Even from the ICE Supplier in Cornwall to S.A. there will be Import duties. When i brought my Cruzbike in the exchange rate then was R 8.5 S.A. to the $ US. It is now close to $16 The only way that i could afford a Trike is to build one myself. I built a FWD folding Recumbent a year ago.

Hello all. Need help. If you have to rider, each putting out 300 watts one on an ICE VTX one on a Cervelo S5 going 30 miles on flat land will the trike be faster, slower or about the same. Thanks for any help and info.

The only drawbacks to buying one of these is that it cost more than my 4x4, and I will not be able to take it on transit ( cheaper than 4x4 ) to get 30 miles from home to the extended MUP. maybe one day when I get a substantial amount of money from my stocks I will splurge, but it will be a full mesh seat not anything like carbon.

We can appreciate that, and if you can't see the value then this trike isn't for you. There are a lot of climbing shots in our videos, but going downhill is a lot more fun.

I don't have my own trike, but in cardio rehab multiple times, I did rehab on recumbent exercise bikes and some folks I met with recumbent trikes let me try theirs. I could do hills with no problem. Due to misdiagnosed gout for many years I have slightly arthritic knees and arthritic ankles, feet, and toes and on a recumbent, they don't bother me. The positioning on a recumbent allows for a lot of power to be put to the peddles. It is like doing seated power leg presses, you can put more muscle into it than an upright squat which is like riding a diamond back bike.
