Mini is a great little bluegill lake. Glad to see Kevan and Rod (known as "Munchy" to some of us) in action. Mini has saved many a' trip up to the IGL's for us when things are slow over on West O:-). We've fished that spot many times over the years:-)

Why run mono if you have to mess with it that much? I realize braid freezes easy and fluorocarbon is hard to work with but mono seems like a pain as well. I prefer to run braid to a barrel swivel with a fluoro leader.

Good suggestion. I like the Fluoro but always seem to fight it not holding memory. Ill try running this set up!

Finally there in okoboji I live about ten miles west of okoboji in a town called lake park. There is a lake called silver lake out there that has some nice walleye and pike, I do most of my fishing, boating, and jet skiing in okoboji
