Idk if im weird but "Subways of your mind" makes total sense as a lyric to me. I interpret it as your deep subconcious. The neural pathways of the subconscious. The subways of our minds. Especially since it comes after "Paranoid, anyway"

Call me clueless, but why would Warner keep the rights to an artist's music, but never release it or even allow said artist to say that they wrote it? Warner's not making any money off it so what would be the point?

This was cool and well done. I think one thing that should be part of the iceberg is this: ''The tracklist''. Is no one else amazed or surprised that the original tracklist features big acts such as: 'Depeche Mode', 'Simple Minds' and even the Ghostbusters theme !! And among them there is this unknown weird mysterious song out of nowhere that sounds like being recorded in a bunker?? I also think the very last or the deepest level should be the 'Hoax' thing but exposed in a clearer way: Darius is the creator of the song. Meaning that Darius, his sister Lidya and Gabriel are either the same person or the three of them are behind one of the most complex ARGs ever.

Good point, I haven't thought about how the song is in the middle of extremely popular-for-the-time songs, but suddenly there's this enigmatic song that hasn't been solved for 40 years. Thank you so much! Don't miss out on my other videos.
@maxbataglia

Finally someone agree with my theory over this song be a big hoax, i think that Darius, Lydia and Gabriel are the creators of music or only characters created by the background of it and the same was made recently.
@sonial1839
@sonial1839 Жыл бұрын
@@maxbataglia I don't think it is a hoax. But it can be part of the iceberg. It being a hoax seems extremely complicated since the ARG thing must have been started in 2007 and needed complex ingredients to be performed. I think it is just a band that no one remembers (not even people involved with it) that is simply lost. Alvin Dean being the creator sounds more logic. If we take into account that ''Stay the second time around'' took nearly 8-9 years to be found, this can take even longer and just in 2019 started to get attention. It still has a long way.

To me, that one lyric sounds like it’s very clearly “There’s no sent communications”. I feel like that’s one of the only possibilities that makes sense, and it doesn’t even sound that ambiguous to me tbh.

The backing track isn't removed correctly, or one of the DJ's was voicing the lyrics of the song... meaning he knew the song beforehand/ playing on the radio. The "lip-smack" cannot be from the original master tape from the song. May be from tape mechanism or DJ. The 10-khrz signature might be apart of home-taping is killings music thing. The song is unlikely, to have started right off with the guitar it could've had a beginning. The hidden voices on the song sound similar to "Billy knight" maybe because the song has at least one German singer separate from the main lead vocalist. The band most likely has a cast of, One German man and British man. But nobody would ever know who they are. The 'German' band mate might've smuggled songs across over to other places. The were mostly inspired by the movement of the "British Rock". And I think it's Power-Rock with Synth-pop. The inspirations were likely to be: bassDire Straits - Sultans of Swing /vocalsAlphaville - Forever young /lyricsDuran Duran hungry like the wolf Still have no idea if this would help track down the band, like if they were in a specific country aside from being only known for having one song in Germany. I think they are likely to be British/Scottish type of inspired song while having some German connection. I believe the main lead singer would be Scottish, with German background vocals and either a distributor/producer from Germany/UK or having two producers from Both Germany and the UK.

6;40 the song's quality makes for a great simulation of auditory processing disorder. some words are just muffled sounds, trying to form the sounds into words that make sense, the multiple possibilities, some guesses being utter nonsense because your brain is doing the equivalent of throwing word magnets at a fridge... difference is computers dont get annoyed when you ask it to repeat several times LOL

I think the mysterious songs could be a hoax, since no one can clarify to put this mystery to rest. Or it a garage band trying to get into the music business, they put it on the radio but no music business picked it up. That group or artist gave up on the dream, just live normal a life or they die. That why The mystery song is never answered, or going to ever be answered. Why to this day, it still a mystery.

Its more possible that the voices in the background is just the „crosstalk“ from the tape being rolled up over a long time, i myself found this out while listening to a tape and hearing the beggining of the next song silently in the space before the actual song started

Hey what can I do to get on the Iceberg?? Even on the bottom part! I really wish this Yannis Beltakis thing would get solved, I mean It's obviously his guitar playing in TMMS. And it's obvious it's Alvin Dean singing. Now whether it's Akis on drums or Alvin's friend Von Claus (from Homicide) I don't sort of know, but Listening to the Statues in Motion album drum work, TMMS, and Forward Music Quintet's drumming, it sounds Like Von Claus's Drumming. As for the Lip smack, I have listened to many NDR DJ's and really think it is DJ Wolfgang Hahn's Lip Smack at the end. Also, Wolfgang would do a long fade out on all his songs very similiar to the TMMS recording on Darius's tape. Wolfgang Hahn subbed for Wolf deiter Subel on October 27th, 1984 and I think Played TMMS then. I also think Darius's tape was made for a Halloween Party to be honest, why else include the LONG version of Ghostbusters. Any way, It seems that Yannis did not confirm that he even knew that TMMS was ever made. I mean if he did and he handed it to an NDR DJ he could at least say so and wouldn't get in trouble for that. That means he didn't have it and I think He wasn't there for the final production mixing and pressing of the song, also. So if it is his guitar playing on the song, but he doesn't have 'Like The Wind', then who has the song before it goes to Germany? If only Alvin has it, who helped him to do the final recording of it? That's why I think Alvin and Yannis Beltakis tried out for the Greek band Forward Music Quintet, in 1984 once the lead singer and guitarist of that group left. It would make sense, otherwise Yannis and Alvin will again get all jazzed up to make music when they know they, once again, for sure they will have to deal with Music corporate types refusing to release their music. Joining another band would have solved that problem, as FMQ's label would have then legally pressed Yannis's and Alvin's former Label to release them of the contract, since their inclusion in FMQ sounded so good and would make enough money to fight it out in court. Just my theory. FMQ also has a DX7 in 1984 at this time played by a female keyboardist who has already redone the Synth work of Billy Knight fairly faithfully in a song from FMQ's 1983 album. Why wouldn't she do it again? Or maybe she just had to only put her unique 'Stepped-up-Dark Wave-Drama-vibe' synth work in a loudly played fashion over that last half of the original 1982 Statues in Motion 'Like the wind/There's No Place"' copy instead? Maybe? and again in FMQ is Alvin Dean's former Band mate from his short lived ska band 'Homicide' by the name of Von Claus! I think the demo was made with them and Alvin was able to get a copy and managed to get it to NDR through an EMI music corp contact.

If Yannis really had something to do with it but now can't release the song due to copyright issues with his publisher couldn't he just share the original lyrics or guitar tabs or something? atleast tell us what the song is truly about? I dont know where he claimed he didn't know about TMMS but if it is true he changed his mind to this decree and to this day didn't present any evidence of his involvement I have hard times believing him, even though his latest story as whole seems plausible to me.

hello einsenberg and the people who read comments and watch the video: next NDR sent me a message on Thursday at 1:40 AM telling me: Moin,als etwas länger bei NDR 2 Beschäftigter kann ich mitteilen: Wir haben diese Anfrage schon früher immer mal bekommen. Ich habe dazu Urgesteine wie z.B. Peter Urban oder Volker Thormählen befragt - keiner konnte was dazu sagen. Es scheint, als ob es sich um ein haltloses Internet-Gerücht handelt. Beste Grüße von Jochen aus dem NDR 2 Team So maybe Like the Wind or TMMS is a fake song due to this response from NDR

I think it's a hoax. Try recording a song off the radio and getting a perfect clean opening like TMMS on tape. Or with no chatter at the end. Also, it's interesting how the singer intentionally sings unintelligible words that don't quite sound like English. I think it's the work of someone who was trying to be impossible to understand. The lyrics make no sense, and you can't make out a lot of it.
