you say that but my 3 year old son had a nightmare about a skeleton and was scared, we filled a spray bottle with water and I stuck a sticker on it with a skull that had a red cross through it and know he sprays it at night to keep the skeletons out of his dreams and it works really well

I am out of my damn mind over how good this series has been. Derek is a treasure among DMs, and draws out such great character moments from the players... I laugh, I cry... I hope this campaign keeps rolling 'til the wheels come off. Bless the Avantris crew for lighting up our lives with such moving and epic storytelling.

Gods I love this episode. Skrimm being so unlucky and seeing his little friend again, seemingly taunting him. Taishen and Queenie having a freakout Whale!Jornir. Just the whole thing. Angry!Barnabos. Love. Derek being so pleased with himself and the group. Funniest Pawtscraper 'appearance' :D And also, sweet Tac being absolutely honest with his description. Of the. Wings. Also can't wait for our lovely, horrible Princess to actually make an appearance 😍

Icebound is my favorite of the campaigns I've seen so far, I wish it were more frequent than once per month. I'm so invested! Derek does a beautiful job using word imagery to paint vivid sights in my mind about the things that are happening around the party, I don't think that's said enough, because I thoroughly enjoy the experience from that added layer of immersion! Adding even more to this already wonderful foundation, the dynamics of the characters in the party are also beloved and I'm cheering absolutely all of them on, especially Taishen and Skrimm who are really just doing their best despite constantly drawing the short straws with a lot of things. 18:03 I appreciate that moan and stone rhymed there 😃

I love the groups recap, listening to Andy use noises to explain what happened gave me a perfectly clear image of the chaos and was giving me Skrimm vibes. It proves the theory that Andy is just Skrimm😂

Yeah it almost makes me mad how every single NPC, even the leveled ones with powers Derek has made to help the party. They have essentially thrown rocks at, yelled at, talked down to, said was going to die immediately. Reminds me of a person telling a dog to get out of here vibes.

Love Derek's Klause reference at beginning. Very nice. Also POTS! Making baba ganouche and Ratatouille are the 2 main reasons I grow eggplant in my garden every year. Skrim's reaction to being shot with the arrow was PERFECT!

Skrimm sees a pair of eyes watching him and won’t stay 30:25 righting the sledge 32:00 no gem means no motor 34:38 a reluctant Jornir agrees they need a vehicle. Skrimm voluntells Barnabos to go down and find the gem. 37:20 Queenie casts Bee Stairs for Taishen - the chasm is deeper than 120’ 39:10 Queenie and Taishen could go (or they could like Skrimm and drop him) 40:20 a flaming arrow eventually finds a bottom. Tak is coming with these peaceful pilgrims. 2:01:14 “stealing” vs liberating 2:02:35 They’ll get this sled ship shape in no time 2:03:23 We have the Princess’ ear 2:05:10 they have to choose between Skrimm and Taishen’s teapot to bring Tak’s big bulging ***** 2:05:50 Skrimm’s drink was spiked 2:07:10 Skrimm blacks out 2:08:05 Barnabos didn’t like that. 2:09:40 Jornir grips his staff with both hands and squeezes 2:10:22 Barnabos calms down (in one grape) and spanks Skrimm awake 2:12:39 Skrimm was saving the rest to drink drive 2:13:30 Taishen tries to talk pragmatism into Barnabos. lost my place to had to restart from the beginning and found a plot hole, you start with the sled still being able to blow, and not that long after it can't and they have to fix it.
