How long will the IceCo Go20 last when powered by an EcoFlow River 2 Pro?
In my last video we ran the same test but used a Bluetti EB3A instead. Click this link to see that video: • IceCo Go20 Powered by ...

I like the R2P power, but love the dimensions and weight of the Bluetti;

Thanks so much for this post. What are the odd tha this was the exact combo i have had in my cart for weeks on Amazon. I was looking for answers I couldnt quite figure out until I saw this video. Pulled the trigger right after finishing this video. Iceco and or Ecoflow should give you a kickback for getting them another customer lol.

I did the same test with the eb3a and the go20. Similar results. I have the old river pro but will only use for camping because of the battery chemistry. I bought a few pecrons lfp models and i absolutely love those

Thanks, finally got my Icecogo20 after years of wanting it. Been eyeing the Ecoflow River or Delta so I can get at least 3 days in 80+ weather, and run my fans at night. Think I'll go with the bigger.

It’s worth the extra $$ to go bigger. At first I just wanted to run the fridge, but with all those other outlets I started plugging in other items too. Enjoy yours!

I have the same setup, except I went with a refurbished version of the Ecoflow River 2 Pro, I've run a few tests, don't feel the need to make a separate video, but for those who stumble across this video like I did before I bought the setup, might be a few more helpful data points. I have run (2) tests as a bit of a control before I run anymore. Both tests aren't true real world scenarios, but I just wanted to establish a baseline. Both tests were run in a room that I have the thermostat set to 25 C / 77 F, although averaged out to about 22.5 C / 72.5 F over the course of both of these tests, tracked through a Mysa thermostat. I did not open the lid on the iceco at all for either of the tests, and the fridge was completely empty, I know that having contents would have kept the cooler going a little longer, but like I mentioned I am just baselining. I used a WiFi thermometer in the cooler so I could track the temp throughout the 3 days, the high and low spikes cycled on 10 minute intervals consistently throughout the 3 days (compressor kicking in and then going off). Test 1: Fridge starting temp was 15 C / 59 F, and I had set both compartments to 0 C / 32 F, no cover on the cooler. The cooler lasted 3 days (72 hours) and I shut it down with 5% left on the generator. The average temperature over the 3 days was 1.6 C / 34.88 F, the low was 1 C / 33.8 F, and high was 2.3 C / 36.14 F. Test 2: Fridge starting temp was 6 C / 42.8 F, and had set both compartments to 0 C / 32 F, this time I used the cover that I got with the cooler. Cooler also lasted 3 days (72 hours) and I shut it down with 10% left on the generator. So it didn't seem like the cover helped with keeping the cooler going much longer, although interesting enough the average temperature over the 3 days was 1.3 C / 34.34 F, where the low was 0.6 C / 33.08 F and high was 2.1 C / 35.78 F.

While the cover may not have helped in my controlled environment, it is a great cover that will protect the cooler from scuffs, but it actually may help in direct sunlight versus in my test it was just ambient room temperature.

Hi I think there is an offset procedure in th manual to align the temperatures. I havent done it on mine yet. If you do could you please do a video?

Do you know if you need to connect it to a phone for the iceco to work? Or can it run on its own? Thanks for all your information with the videos!

Nope not for the IceCo. You don’t need the phone app at all. In these videos I don’t have the app installed on my phone yet. I did install it a couple of months ago and it’s ok, but not necessary for certain. For the EcoFlow you technically don’t need the app either but you’ll want it because it’s pretty useful and offers new firmware updates.

What is the output (w) that the fridge pulls from the eco flow when the compressor is engaged?

thank you for putting in the time to do the tests...However...How do you know if your thermometer in the cooler is accurate. and your comparisons between the two power packs are totally unfair. You should use the Bluetti that comes in the wattage size as the EcoFlow.

You’re right on both points. The thermometer could be off, although it tracks accurate when I use it in the main house fridge. The reason I compared the Bluetti and the EcoFlow is because that’s all I have, someone out there might have one or the other. It wasn’t really meant to be a legit head to head comparison.
