I have to admit, you do some of the best and most efficient testing on the internets. Keep going Jeremiah.

I have one of these units and it is the finest kind. I sure it last 5 years (or longer) ... My first test was with a fully charged 90 AMP hour (deep cycle lead acid) and I turned it on at 32 degrees on a Sunday at noon and ran it until it stopped ... without charging the battery. I set the battery shut off feature on that is on the unit. The frig ran and shut off the following Friday at 6:30 PM. It stayed at 32 essentially. I sometimes bunk in the vehicle and think I hear something now and then sleeping and it is a very quiet. I run the pad on it 100% of the time. It is heavy but I move it empty. You can pack the rack and carry out of the frig. I would give it a 6 or 7 star on a 5 star system. by the way, excellent review

Jeremiah I’m sure that you have help so many people I hope this information helps you. I’m a street performer and I used two 60 watt speakers. I also have a MIADY Lithium battery.36 amp. It has operated my speakers for five hours. Using 120 watts an hour. I paid $125 for the battery. I was so impressed with the battery that I bought another one. I got it on Amazon. The best performance is when I charge it at 2 Amps. It takes about 10 hours to charge with my smart charger. My smart charger goes up to 5 Amps. It charges my battery up to 13.8 amps. Jeremiah keep up your good work.

I appreciate your thorough testing. I would just add that it’s very difficult to test the accuracy of the internal thermometer when the refrigerator is empty. Air has very little thermal mass and also stratifies with the warmer air rising to the top. If you load the fridge with food, you will find a more even temperature from bottom to top, and more accurate temp readings, especially if you do not open it regularly.

Hey J when I saw the frozen ice Pops in the freezer I was sold man 😋

Lol 😂 I agree it’s gonna be awesome on super hot days if you were using it in freezer mode. It is going to use more power though.

Checkout Bioenno power. They sell some pretty impressive solar and Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries you might want too look into.

Hello Jeremiah. What a thorough and broad review of this fridge. I appreciate the effort involved. I purchased one a couple days ago based on your testing. I had a question. When I set the fridge to 30 degrees it's showing about 36 degrees on the bottom and 41 degrees on top of the main compartment. That seemed a little warm on top for safety so when I drop it to 28 degrees it froze some salad dressing on the bottom of the fridge. I don't rely on the temperature on the fridge since it seems fairly inaccurate and you mentioned that. Can you suggest a temperature I should set it at to keep food from freezing on the bottom, but keep upper contents at a safe temp? I know how it's packed and other variables make this an inexact science, but maybe your experience with it is a good starting point for me.

Thanks Gregory, I try to be as accurate in my testing as I can. It’s going to depend a lot on how much you open it but on my last camping trip I set it to 28° and nothing froze in the bottom but kept it cold enough up top. When I was taking my drinks out I would take the coldest ones from the bottom and replace it with one of the slightly warmer ones from up top to keep things rotated and that seem to work excellent. I probably didn’t have to do it that way and it was still keep things up top cold enough but that’s what I did just to make sure things in the bottom didn’t freeze. I would also recommend using small thermometers one in the bottom and one up top just to keep an eye on things so you can understand exactly how it works.

@@JeremiahMcintosh Thanks so much for the reply, Jeremiah. Your suggestions are quite helpful. I'm going to set it at 28 degrees, use the thermometers as you indicate, and practice a little food rotation. I love the channel and really appreciate the thoughtfulness and precision of your evaluations. All the best!

It’s changes when it shuts off from low voltage to help from draining your vehicle battery down to low.
