Thanks for your review and listing the real-world scenarios for the EB55. You've hit the nail on the head with the Iceco brand. I do not own one, but I wish I did. This is a case where the money you spend for the Iceco is "buy once, cry once." No way to go wrong here. Concerning the CPAP use, I've been a CPAP user for six years, and I would like to observe that the component that uses the most power is the heater/humidifier. If you can sleep without humidification and the heater hose, you save quite a bit of power. Just recently I ran a test with my old Resmed S9. I purchased a standard hose and some in-line humidifiers that absorb the moisture from your breath for humidification rather than the heated tank. I also bought a DC power cord with a 10 amp standard cigarette lighter plug, and plugged it into a fully charged Jackery 1000. After 8 hours of sleep, the Jackery was at 94% capacity, so the set-up used only 6% of the Jackery's capacity. With this alternate set-up, you can get quite a few more nights of power for your CPAP from an EB55. PS - nice socks!

As always a great revue, and ICECO ticks all the boxes for a portable cooler. Also you mentioned induction single burner type stove top, now this item has sparked my interest for week long summer excursions. A future video on these type items and pairing with power stations could be of interest to your viewers.

I’ve been running a very similar setup for three years now. Bluetti EB 70 and a older pro model iceco fridge. It’s been rock solid. Icing on the cake is that most of the the iceco line uses the much higher quality Secomp compressors.

This one is quite a bit more efficient than the new EcoFlow glacier and the insulation appears to be much better as well, especially for having the same capacity. Of course the glacier does have dual zone and an ice maker for a couple of hundred bucks more (early bid pricing) but at the $799 early bird pricing, the ice maker will not work because it requires the internal battery (now at $999 early bird price) and the compressor that EcoFlow uses does not yet have the established reliability and long life of the Secop compressors that are in all Iceco products. It's really helpful to see the warm up temperatures when the compressor is not running (wow, 10 hours!) and this Iceco really shines! Great review!

Thanks John! Yeah the ice maker does require having the battery installed, but only if you're running it off 12v DC supply. If you power it thru AC (or less commonly, 24v DC) you can run the ice maker without the battery option. So if you happen to be using a power station, you could just switch it over to AC when making ice and then switch it back to DC for efficiency afterwards. Not saying that makes it the better option, but it's AN option. Haha

Ah yes, This is the one I have. I'll be putting it to the test this weekend for camping and will be using a pecron 2000lfp for powering it. I already been running the icego go20 non stop for a year so I trust the iceco brand.

Great review As for the CPAP, it depends on the air pressure setting and water humidifier, I have monitored my usage and turns out to be from 12-15 Whr, so it really depends. My EB70s can run for over 4 days on 6-7 hr sleep/night. Thanks

I'm a recent subscriber and love your videos. I wanted to mention since you use a Resmed unit like I do they sell a 12V converter and works great even on power banks that may not have a regulated 12V plug, and in addition it will allow you to use your power bank for an additional 2 or 3 nights depending on your sleep pattern. Again great work on your reviews.

Thanks for the video! I plan on using my Jackery 500 with the JP40. I should be able to passthrough charge my Jackery in my F150 and keep my Iceco plugged into my jackery and everything would stay nice and charged, is that about right? Thank you so much!

thermal mass. you had a lot in there that was cold so takes longer to get warm (absorb energy from outside) .. with less in there that item(s) would get warmer faster as that little mass would absorb all that "can" come through. Same for anything not that particular product.

I have the EB55 and I kinda wish I got an Ecoflow but they didn't have the LiFePO4 at the time and I have definitely run into some challenges. First and foremost is battery can only run my fridge 2 - 3 days in ideal conditions if there is no sun or am camping in the shade. I also have to manually switch cables from solar to cigarette lighter if I wanna charge while driving my van, is there a way to make this automatic? I been thinking about getting an extension battery maybe something like 100AH that would give me a good weeks worth of charge although I am not sure how I would charge that or if I can hook that up to my starter battery so that charges while I drive and Bluetti purely for solar, then just use the extension to charge my Bluetti when its running low. I hear you need dc to dc battery charger or converter? Any assistance would be appreciated, I know little about these electronics, still learning.

Great review. New to the space here and wondering why is the KWH that all these manufacturers give isn’t what is available to use? Do they test in labs under heavily controlled conditions? Seems like marketing malpractice 🙏

Yeah, the rated capacity represents the batteries total output at 100% discharge, but the BMS (battery mgmt system) prevents you from discharging at 100% to prolong battery life and reserve some power for critical functions. Also, there can be a lot of variability in efficiency between AC inverters. That's why I test them so see how much capacity you can actually expect to get. 80-85% is average. 85-90% is extremely good, but not as common. I hope that helps!

That top number on my little square thermometer is actually a humidity reading. The ambient temp stayed pretty consistent around 68-70F through-out that run-time and temp-retention testing.

Power loss for 17 hrs yesterday ...eb3a bluetti carried the 3.5 cu. ft. freezer for 6+ hrs threw it on solar and bluetti has "input " error just flashing obviously will contact Bluetti for possible firmware updates. Do you have a recommendation for any solar battery powered generator that run TV/CPU & MODEM for around 6-8 hours ? thanks very much !

leaning toward VTOMAN 1500X because of price point but aware of its limitations as we doubt it will carry 6hrs of that wattage draw of large tv/monitor-cpu-modem

Hi Susan! My 65" Samsung TV draws about 145W per hour and my desktop PC and Monitor draw a combined average of 130W per hour (higher if I'm doing graphically intensive work). My Internet router and modem only draw around 12W per hour. So in my case, that adds up to 287W per hour x 8hrs = 2300Wh. The VTOMAN J1800 + Expansion would get you to 3095Wh and cost around $2168. Another option would be the Pecron E2000LFP+ EB3000 expansion to get you almost 5000Wh for just a bit more cost at $2668. (and between the 2, I'd spring for the Pecron bundle). Another option would be the Pecron E3000 at only $1599 for 3000Wh - BUT do keep in mind that the E3000 is Lithium NMC and so might not be the BEST choice if you're using it daily, as it will have a shorter service life overall.

Why didn't you use a temp monitor rhat didn’t require you to open the fridge to check the temp. My monitor reads temps on a freezer 60 feet away and a side by side freezer 15 feet away from inside the freezers! You sabotage the temps inside your fridge by opening it to look at a monitor insude it.

You should get a lot more than 2 or 3 hours out of the TV. It shouldn't be taking more than 100W or so, average.

My 10 year old Samsung 65" smart TV averages 145Wh...but I'd imagine that the newer models are (hopefully) more energy efficient.
