Absolutely! I'm 50 years old and currently on my second battle with cancer. My childhood home is not far from the hospital where I receive treatment. I was 12 when this song came out and I remember sitting up all night trying to catch it on the radio to "tape" it on an old cassette. Then i took it with me on a roadtrip with my family to the beach. I remember rewinding it over and over. 34 years later and the song still stings me with intense nostalgia and brings me right back there. Few artists today can match the uniqueness and quality of music that came out of the 80's. Electric Blue is one of my favorites by Icehouse and whenever I hear it, I am transported back to my college experience.
