Iceland in winter

Hello. My name is Kristie. I'm from the Netherlands, currently living in Germany. Since I was little I loved travelling. When I met my boyfriend in the beginning of 2021, we try to travel as much as we can. Even though, he has a full time job and I have to finish my education, we take every opportunity to explore the world.
Iceland was truly amazing. On the one hand it was very very cold, we got stuck in a snowstorm and unfortunately we didn’t see any northern lights. On the other hand it was somehow magical and we experienced and got so see many things, which are out of the world. Iceland is very isolated and close to nature. Except for Reykjavik there aren’t any bigger cities on this Island.
We definitely want to come back to see the rest of the island, especially the northern coast, but then in summer.
