WΔY ΔWΔY I rented a 4x4 small suv and stayed in Airbnbs last year in June for three weeks, and the year before also, same month. I feel because the way one travels there in nIceland the experiences feel more intense. I have seen some sights in the world like you all, but Iceland has a way of making me me feel as if It was my country too 😊. Very happy to see you there, as this year I opted out of my Iceland sojourney as I just returned from Italy and Greece. Keep up the happiness!

Atlantic puffins can be seen on the Shiants and St Kilda, although i've seen them off the Lewis coast as well. Think they are the same breed as the ones in Iceland!

Puffins are so cute, especially when they eat a lot of fish and then they are so full that they can't fly very high and their little round bellys smack on the ocean as they try to fly!!! We have puffins in NL too!!! And sea otters and whales of all kinds!!!

I'm bilingual so I learned English as well as Icelandic as a baby. my father is born in NY and I have a lot of family in the states that can't even say my middle name. but the break down is as close as I can make for an American. just remember Sia as in how you say the singers name. there is a j sound there that I just know you can't pronounce :)

The puffins build their nests and dig small holes into the cliff which can make it quite unstable at the edge, so please stay away!
