An ICG mixed freight train rolls through the St. Lucie Union Station on the Treasure Coast Model Railroad Club, Port St.Lucie, Florida
On the point are ICG, GP-38-2 # 9568, GM&O, SD-40 #916 and GM&O, GP38-2 #742.
This lashup of power would be typical shortly after the merger of the Gulf Mobil & Ohio and Illinois Central Railroads, forming the Illinois Central Gulf in August,1972.
The HO locomotives are from 3 different manufacturers, Athearn, Kato and Life Like. All are fitted with Tsunami 2 decoders and work very well together. They are quite capable of pulling a train twice the number of cars shown in the video which is 27 cars.
