EXPANDIA: Local Manufacturing

The ICGEB COVID-19+ and EXPANDIA projects aim to stimulate the local manufacturing of reagents for diagnostic use within laboratories through the establishment and transfer of protocols for low-cost production. The limited access to reagents by many African laboratories due to disrupted supply and cold chains is a major obstacle for the routine diagnostic and surveillance of diseases.
