It’s due to the power of friendship trope and “lack of death” if you want something else go read berserk. At the end of the day FT is meant to be a fun battle series, sure there are serious moments but it’s met to air on the side of caution. If it was meant to be truly sad or epic then the author would post scenes that are that on twitter again like the panels from berserk. That is not the case the author just blueballs us with ships of the main cast instead.

There are countless quotes within Fairy Tail that have such deep meaning that they can pierce your heart. Fairy Tail gave me purpose to live. It taught me everything that it had to offer. This isn't just an anime for me, it's an emotion. When hope seemed lost to me, this anime gave me hope. The warmth, the bonds between the characters, and its music, everything gave me a reason to live. One day, when I grow up, I wish to be able to do the same for someone else. I wish to create a story, manga, anime or anything that can do to someone what Fairy Tail did to me.

despite the setbacks that this anime endured I still and will love fairytail.. It lives up to it's word about guilds, magic, friends everything blend together. It made me believe more in friendship which other animes fail to do so. It motivates me to do more. It's an overall way of our life that we can live positive despite the challenges.
