Kevin Costner honored Ali and eulogized Whitney Houston at her funeral. He knows how to honor greatness because he himself is great. Ali was a shining example of what humanity should strive to become. He will always be The Greatest.

This is the first and only time of the whole speech he lets his guard and "skeptical eyes" down. It doesnt last long. I didnt live through the era so I really dont have any reference of what he went through. Unfortunately, I dont think Ali appreciated this speech very much. I wish we could know his real thoughts in this moment. He may have thoughts on hollywood and vanity in general. Or, "why is white Robin Hood giving a speech about me?" 🤷 who knows? It was rewarding to hear and inspired me to greater heights. Mr. Costner showed through his own life experiences that change is possible, even inevitable. More important, it reflected that minds and attitudes can be changed to see and acknowledge the truth; even those who are hard hearted. Greatness speaks, whether it's spoken or shown. Mr. Ali did both. May his soul rest in eternal peace. Thank you Mr. Costner for speaking the truth.

What an incredibly beautiful, and enduring speech for one of the greatest individuals in the history of mankind. It encapsulated Ali's career as succinctly as humanly possible with the limited time alllotted for the Muhammad Ali Celebrity Fight Night 2008. I applaud Kevin Costner for delivering one of the greatest speeches I've ever heard delivered in tribute to another human being. I salute Muhammad Ali for his service to our country, although you never enlisted into the military, you were indeed one of America's most decorated soldier's. The 3 years in which Ali was banned from the sport of boxing, constitutes as his military time in service. The difference between Ali's service was that he chose to fight against the war not in it, while the other soldier's chose to fight in it as opposed to fighting against it. It turns out Ali was right, and our government was wrong, many who were inducted were against the war if not initially then soon after they arrived to Vietnam. Just as many soldier's came back with missing limbs, agent orange symptoms, and P.T.S.D., Ali also was left with injuries, but his injuries were internal. Thanks to the advent of the computer, Internet, and U-TUBE, I've been able to see this video, and many other's you were a Zorro with your tongue, and wit. God bless you Muhammad Ali you were so much wiser than anyone gave you credit for, but you fought well past your prime, and that'[s what cost you so dearly in the end.

Muhammad Ali was a special human being. He transcended race, religion, and much of what divides the world. In a strange way I looked at him like an uncle, even though I never met him. He had a profound impact on the person/man I am today. There will never be another like Muhammad Ali.

I do not know how, but I'll say this anyhow. My fellow dweller Mr. Kevin Costner truly has spoken form his heart and our hearts for a person who'll always be a peaceful warrior for human kind, Lots of love and respect from the bottom of my heart to Mr. Costner.

And Ali and Elvis were the BEST of friends..Elvis in disguise, went clubbing with Ali.. gifted him with a glittering People's Champion robe ( hanging at the Ali centre).. Elvis stayed at Ali's deer lake training camp..the world's press camped out watching Ali train for Frazier 3.. and Elvis was in Ali's log cabins.. 50 yards away.. two among guys..one, Elvis, we lost to soon..
