I saw this for the first time at the VIZ world premiere at New York Comic Con two days before it aired. Tears were definitely shed. The feeling of seeing Orihime’s powers first come on the screen and knowing that Ichigo and the whole gang is finally back on screen after 10 years and are about to save the day. Just seeing Ichigo come up on the screen and hearing Number One was just so much. The feelings that all Bleach fans feel for this return is indescribable. These characters have been through so much and have grown so much, and are about to experience so much more. So much nostalgia, pride, and love, for this return. The return of Bleach is long deserved and we have all waited so long. The amount of care, effort, attention to detail, and thoughtfulness that the entire team has behind the anime adaptation of TYBW is so visible. I definitely cried seeing this return finally, and I know so many other Bleach fans feel the same. A lot of people thought the anime wouldn’t come back, and we finished the manga in 2016, but I know so many of us still had the hope and the knowing feeling in our hearts that one day Bleach will return. That day has finally come. My thoughts, love, and prayers are with the Bleach fans that have passed away before seeing this, or passed away before hearing the announcement that Bleach is back. Our hearts are all one on this day. After 10 years, the wait is finally over. It is still so surreal that it is BACK. Bleach deserves this so much. Words cannot express what this means. Thank you, Kubo, for creating the beauty that is Bleach. BLEACH IS FINALLY BACK! ❤️❤️❤️

It's also very possible he was there but wasn't credited. Yamashita will 100% make an appearance in ep 6 or 7 tho: the Yamamoto fight. As well as Takashi Hashimoto.

My childhood befriend introduced me to bleach when we were just in middle school. He was a huge fan and turned me into one. We watched the entire series together, as adults we stuck together no matter what and stayed the closest friends/ brothers.... he recently passed away 2 years ago and it saddens me because he never got the chance to watch the new season in person but I know he's with me in spirit form watching it. I'm new in this fandom, started to watch Bleach from the mid of February but what I didn't expect for sure is Bleach being so interesting to the point when I literally rushed both seasons because I felt like "No, not enough, GIVE ME MORE" during each episode (watched w/o fillers though). I didn't know this title was such a treasure. I can only imagine how many emotions this scene brings to the fans that waited for continuation for years but even though I'm not one of them this gives a lot of emotions because there are so many signature elements in just one moment which are summed up into a new version of Ichigo's theme. It literally speaks confident "We're back now" to me. This title surely has very strong passion and love behind it.
