I'm not bothered by the drums at all, I understand why brother over here thinks the drums are overdone, but it's just because a lot of the parts aren't how I'd expect a drummer to approach said part. Very much MIDI drums written by a guitarist. Still an incredible song nonetheless. Guitar brain on drums is almost always overdone or done poorly. Better overdone than done poorly (or even worse, both. looking at the f*cking idiot who tried to tab out the drums for some Necrophagist songs and completely ruined the entire track lol.)
