The tone is a combo of digital amp modeling that lets you do things analogs can't, the in between positions on a guitar (look up 'strat quack', found in lots of Dire Straits stuff), and I guess a portion of it is the supernatural playing that comes from being by possessed by the Ghost of Shredding Past. Which would by the way be a cool song name..

@@ハイジ-0 Some people just have the talent. He is a Virtuoso of the guitar, his playing, his tune, his technique.. are so clean due not only his ability but the 5 years of his life, spent practicing and studying. While we, mere mortal guitarists practice our instruments once per day for a couple of hours or even less, Mr. Nito over here might've spent whole days, weeks, months practicing for hours and hours without losing a fraction of his passion and talent of the guitar. If we not take in consideration the 5 years spent on the guitar, he most probably already have a music-related background. After all, we have the luck to witness and admire his talent.

The hybrid picking, tapping, and fretting technique deployed by Ichika Nito and Tim Henson is light years ahead of anything these old guitar dabbler's ears have ever heard. So many multilayered melodies and harmonic choruses float along interwoven together with a sublime fluidity that is utterly mesmerizing to behold. These two guitarists have set new benchmarks that will come to distinguish expert guitar players from those whose other-worldly command of the fretboard simply defies categorization.

I can feel the emotion, the longing to feel the embrace of their arms but being cut off every time you feel so close. The high hopes of wanting so badly to feel their warmth but knowing all too well that you can't weather because they are bad for you, or are no longer here, you can't hold their hand, kiss them, hug them, touch them, speak with them, cry with them. And it's such a somber, brooding feeling that will always get caught up in our throats.

We used to see fireflies in our garden when I was small, they were present more often during the summer nights. Seeing your video and hearing your music just reminded me of this and it made me feel so very sad for the loss of such an experience. Thank you for reminding me of memories I should have cherished more.

I've once heard it said that music is pure emotion. I think this song captures that perfectly. There's no subject, so specific event, but I could feel tears welling up just from hearing this.

I personally prefer Ichika’s playing and music miles over Henson’s because I feel like Ichika writes music that goes beyond just being extremely talented. Virtuosos are almost never as popular as other musicians because the talent often masks the genuine aspect of the music. Nitosama blends his talent and songwriting abilities to create awe-inspiring pieces that still have genuine emotional appeal. He is so amazing not because he is a talented guitarist, but simply a talented Artist

Ive listened to this song for about a year and i just had to come back to say this is, but this piece is one of the best (and i say that only in respect to people i do not know) musical compositions of this generation, and i would have no problem with Ichika being our Beethoven
