Idk why but it makes it even cooler that this accurate, in depth take came from a female.. Maybe I'm just a weirdo? 🤷‍♂... or maybe its because, in my neck of the woods, I have yet to meet a single woman that even s who Polyphia is without me showing them first? Bravo, regardless! Polyphia reminds me of like a modern version of a classical string quartet. 2 violins=2 guitars, cello=drums, viola=bass. Why does everyone forget that a classical string quartet is composed of 2 violins, a viola, and a cello? 😬

I thought the same thing, it's a nice splash back to some of their older EPs

Some of the lead lines feel right out of the Inspire EP. I won't lie, I really miss that sound. This is sort of a mesh between that old style and their newer more experimental work. Hope there's a heavier song more reminiscent of that era of Polyphia in the new album though.

@@aninfinitemindofmusicandreams for real, I can totally appreciate all of their catalog, but I've kinda fallen off the last few years. Looking forward to this new album

@@kylehodges5897 Same here. The newer sound is cool but it's not really my cup of tea. The old heavier and more shred style guitar stuff I prefer a lot more.
