Wow, I am delighted that Ichika is the very first Japanese Signature Artist ever for Ibanez! His unique style on the guitar immediately catches my ear every time I hear him play, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of that honor. Sure, he has a virtuosic level of ability on the guitar, but the way he uses his complicated technique always adds more texture, color, and layers to his compositions. I never feel like I'm listening to a Guitar Center "Wank-Off" competition, and that is the sign of a true artist, in my opinion... Musical Taste... The ability to know when to sheath your sword and when to go in with guns full-blazing (sorry to mix analogies)! I'm looking forward to trying this signature guitar out one day. Keep up the great work, Ichika and Ibanez both! 👍🏼👍🏼

His futuristic approach and command of the instrument make him the perfect guitar ambassador for Japan. I enjoyed hearing him tell his story about how Ibanez discovered him and sought him out to be a signature artist and also hearing him talk about working on developing a new guitar model together.
