Wow, I am delighted that Ichika is the very first Japanese Signature Artist ever for Ibanez! His unique style on the guitar immediately catches my ear every time I hear him play, and I cannot think of anyone more deserving of that honor. Sure, he has a virtuosic level of ability on the guitar, but the way he uses his complicated technique always adds more texture, color, and layers to his compositions. I never feel like I'm listening to a Guitar Center "Wank-Off" competition, and that is the sign of a true artist, in my opinion... Musical Taste... The ability to know when to sheath your sword and when to go in with guns full-blazing (sorry to mix analogies)! I'm looking forward to trying this signature guitar out one day. Keep up the great work, Ichika and Ibanez both! 👍🏼👍🏼

Great video Ibanez. Ichika is a highly talented and innovative artist with a humble personality and good attitude. His technique and tone are Olympic level and he is definitely most deserving of his own guitar model. His futuristic approach and command of the instrument make him the perfect guitar ambassador for Japan. I enjoyed hearing him tell his story about how Ibanez discovered him and sought him out to be a signature artist and also hearing him talk about working on developing a new guitar model together. Ichika's design choices are aesthetically amazing and he definitely specified some nice modifications and improvements to the already excellent Quest series headless guitars. I look forward to seeing where he takes his signature model headless guitar next.

@@ianybanez6884 before strandberg Steinberger and Hohner were making headless basses and guitars Ibanez and BC Rich are the future of headless guitars and basses even though I hate headless basses and guitars.

@@Highrollinhunter oof thank you, I made a mistake. I confused Strandberg with Steinberger. Steinberger was the company I was talking about. And yeah I never liked them, but lately they’ve been growing on me. Can’t beat the functionality
