I've started watching Mushi-shi recently and I think this EP really resembles the atmosphere. Not sad nor happy. But almost poetic and melancholic beauty where my heart and soul can talk to each other in solitude and peace. Makes me feel very calm. His music pulls you into his world of emotions and the moment you've started to feel it all within you, it draws you back to floating in a void of nothingness. It's soothing and daunting at the same time. Feeling it all and nothing at all. As beautiful as it is, it's scary to listen to sometimes, having to be in a dark void or being so calm that you're afraid it's gonna end.
