Anti vibration is not for eliminate vibration but to protect connector between battery and machine. It is very well designed

Battery starter is a cool feature, probably they made it as add on for already set up production line so everything is packed in the back. Good idea, it remains to be seen if it is reliable, using an old 20V battery mitigates the risk of damage. I still us a 15 years old Parkside 43cc trimmer, usually 10-20 hours per year and still going pretty strong after all this time.

Yeah, I was disappointed with the switch position after I bought it. I don't even use the electric start, but I still think it is good for accessibility. I have relative who want to use it, but can't start it the normal way. You could just remove the battery after start to mitigate vibration damage for longer continuous usage. For more frequent cycling, I plane to modify the wiring harness and add a secondary momentary switch on the handle, just working out how to do it in a warranty friendly way...

Nice. Can you remove the starter to see how it is connected with the motor. I'm wondering if I could put it on some other machines, PBRK 700 for example, if I order it as a spare part.

It seems to me that the engine is not reaching full (9500) rpm. Is the air-fuel mixture too rich?
@Edocsil5 ай бұрын
Seems like pure gasoline without 2 stroke oil in it 😅

@@Edocsil yes , that’s why he’s showing exhaust and battery with clear oil residue . You are not near as smart as you think my guy 😂😂😂

I would start it with the battery and then remove it. I dont know much about these tools and if the motor stalls easily. Otherwise it looks like a good machine.
@smrtolet6 ай бұрын
even if it stalls easily, you could put a 2Ah battery in your pant's side pocket to have it avaliable

@@smrtolet yeah i have big holster pockets on my work jeans, it would fit easy and they are not heavy

You need to tune the carburetor. Seems like it's running rich and low rpm...

battery cells don't mind vibrations at all. this system is perfectly fine. do a battery training and you see.

I think this is one of the tools I would never buy. Love parkside but I don’t really understand why I would carry extra weight for hours just for an easier start.
@miguelpra5 ай бұрын
Its not only an easier start... You have new motor with more powerfull
@nazzytpr5 ай бұрын
@@miguelpra maybe, but I would still prefer the powerful engine without electric starter

I love parkside warranty ,i am currently on 3rd rotary drill hammer ,they just keep dying and i just keep sending them back.And i still have 2 years warranty.Yea switch and battery placement are made by idiots ,as usually when it comes to parkside it takes just a little bit to be a good tool that you enjoy to use-BUT NOOOOOO, WE DONT DO THAT HERE !!!

It would be better if they'd released 40V battery brushcutter with loop handle.

Am I crazy here or did he use raw gasoline in a 2 stroke?
@icku2 ай бұрын
Damn, you got me 🤣 Do i need to show every step in that shorts? Maybe it's not even gasoline, maybe it's raw apple juice. You can get even crazier now 😉
@meshachfoster7492 ай бұрын
Everybody's a comedian. Your gasoline was clear so unless you're using clear 2 stroke oil or this is a 4 stroke and you left that part out, you just demoed without lubrication but hey it's not my machine you're burning up 🤷🏿 so have fun.
