Use solder wick and desolder only one side and then lift just that side of the component. Leave the other side attached so you can resolder in the future.

Do the 6 meters band works after this mod? I just did the exact same mod and it opened the TX as it should but now the radio doesn’t go to 6 meters at all. Did a reset and nothing. There is the potential that is a Japan radio but it drives me crazy how it opened everything else.
