No doubts here about the high quality but... such a pitty that Icom keeps applying glossy parts in the front panel. All matt would be so much nicer (like the IC-7200).

ICOM knocks it out the park once again. Yaesu and Kenwood might as well just pack up now.

Ummm.... Yaesu is top of the list for what matters with receivers. And personally, having both, the Yaesu implementation of QRM fighting features is much nicer. And there is no better built rig than a TS-890, and it posts better numbers than Icom. Even the flagship 7851. Sorry man, Icom makes a great rig but Yaesu and Kenwood aint scared :)
